I make poverty work. These works have shown internationally at venues including the Museum of Modern Art NY, Anthology Film Archives, San Francisco Cinematheque, and the Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia. I hold a self-designed B.A. in Independent Visual Studies from Haverford College. My B.A. thesis, “Yours Virtually: Materiality and Intervention in Virtual Media,” traced how virtuality is made present through the material of the body by way of the works of theorists Homay King, Ariella Azoulay, & Saidiya Hartman and artists Yoko Ono, John Cage, & Eduardo Williams.
